These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us") for using CardboardTens: the website at www.cardboardtens.com and the CardboardTens mobile app. By creating an account or using CardboardTens, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use CardboardTens.

1. Who can use CardboardTens

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms for you. You may not use CardboardTens if the law forbids it.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google, Apple or Discord. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your sign-in secure. If you think someone else has access, use Sign out of all devices in Manage Account and tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

3. What CardboardTens does, and what it doesn’t

• CardboardTens helps you look up Pokémon card prices, keep lists and inventories of cards, and record trades.
• Prices and values are estimates based on third-party data. They can be late, incomplete or wrong, and they are not an offer to buy or sell. Nothing in CardboardTens is financial, investment or tax advice.
• Trades you record are between you and the other person. We are not a party to them, we do not hold money or cards, and we are not responsible for what the other person does.

4. Subscriptions

• CardboardTens has a Free plan and paid plans (Premium and Pro). What each plan includes, and its price, is shown before you subscribe.
• Paid plans are billed through the App Store, Google Play, or our website (through Stripe and RevenueCat). They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from Subscription (Manage subscription) or in your App Store or Google Play settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds follow the policy of the store you paid through. For website purchases, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
• If your plan ends, anything over the Free plan’s limits stays in your account but becomes read-only until you subscribe again or bring it within the limits.
• We may change prices or plan features. A price change for an existing subscription takes effect only after we tell you in advance.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it first.

5. Your content

You own the lists, inventories, trades, notes and photos you add. You give us permission to store, copy and display them as needed to run CardboardTens for you, and, if you make a list public, to show it to other users. You are responsible for what you add: only upload photos you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, copy in bulk, or access CardboardTens by automated means, other than through an API key we issue to you;
• try to break, overload, probe or get around the security of CardboardTens;
• reverse engineer the app or the service, except where the law allows it;
• use another person’s account, or misrepresent who you are;
• use CardboardTens for anything illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or to infringe anyone’s rights.

7. Card data, trademarks and other sites

Card information and images come from third-party data providers. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc. CardboardTens is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.

CardboardTens links to other sites, such as eBay and TCGplayer. We don’t control them and are not responsible for them; their own terms apply. Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission when you buy, at no cost to you.

8. Our service

CardboardTens, including its software, design and our own content, belongs to [COMPANY NAME] and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use it under these terms. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering CardboardTens; if we stop, we will try to give you notice.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using CardboardTens and delete your account at any time (see How to delete your account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or CardboardTens at risk. Sections 3, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 13 continue after your account ends.

10. Disclaimers

CardboardTens is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its prices and data are accurate, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or losses from trades or purchases you make based on CardboardTens. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and [AMOUNT]. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

12. Indemnity

If you break these terms or the law while using CardboardTens, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims brought against us because of it, to the extent the law allows.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY], [STATE], unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

14. Apple App Store

If you got the app from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and [COMPANY NAME], not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance or support, or any claims about it. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple for a refund of its purchase price, if any, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we will tell you in the app or on the website before it takes effect. If you keep using CardboardTens after that, you accept the new terms.
